This retreat aims to give comfort, solace, and inspiration to front line medical workers in this time of pandemic. Drawing on patristic wisdom, Dr. Bastien and Fr. Andrew will engage the parable of the Good Samaritan, tease out its good news, and engage in a fruitful conversation from the best of the Eastern Christian tradition and contemporary medical ethics of care. As we prepare for Christmas, this retreat will help us lift up our heavy hearts to be transformed by the miracle of the Lord's Nativity.
